About

About Campable

Campable helps people travelling around New Zealand by campervan, motorhome, caravan or tent find somewhere to stay on private land. Our hosts are farmers, orchardists, winemakers, lifestyle-block owners, clubs and small businesses with room to share.

For travellers

  • Stay on farms, orchards, vineyards, lifestyle blocks and quiet spots by the water, and meet the people who live there.
  • Search by place or on the map. Every listing shows photos, reviews, the house rules and who can stay.
  • Book on the website or in the Campable app for iPhone and Android.
  • No booking fees for guests: the price you see is the price you pay.

For hosts

  • Listing is free. You set your own price (from $25 a night), who can stay, and whether guests can book instantly or send you a request first.
  • You're paid into your bank account on the 15th of the month after each stay. Stripe's card fee comes off first, then Campable keeps 25% of the site price and 15% of extras such as extra people and add-ons.
  • Find out more on Why host?, or become a host.

Looking after each other

Guests agree to our Rules of Etiquette, and after every stay the guest reviews the host and the host reviews the guest. Our Cancellation Policy sets out what happens if plans change.
