The place
Just off the beaten track you'll find this beautiful slice of real Kiwi paradise with welcoming social hosts. Come and join us on our acre of private rural land with mature trees and flat private camping areas. Only 25 km from Whanganui, it's well worth the little detour for all you'll experience! Phil would love to entertain you around a campfire with songs and stories if he's around and feeling up to it! There are safe country roads to walk or bike on, a fabulous Saturday Market in Whanganui, and only 15 mins away from the local beach.
Baking, fresh jams, relishes, sauces, fresh produce are all available to purchase. You stay includes free water, toilet facility, shower, fresh vegetables from the garden in season, and free range eggs if the hens have laid. You also have access to laundry facilities for a small charge.

Always a wonderful stay here! Highly recommend:)
Amazing people and very cute dogs.
The property is amazing. Recommend
Lovely night spent at ridge view with Phil, Diane and all their lodgers! Shower is a couple of watering cans which didn't really bother us. More grapefruits and lemons than we knew what to do with!
Very welcoming and hospitable hosts and beautiful location
. One small detail - the description is a little out of date. Eggs scones were available but on request.
One of my favorite places I stayed while in New Zealand! Wonderful company, hospitality, and pups! Will definitely have to come back on my next trip :)
