The place

Welcome!
Our farm in Blue Spur, Hokitika is a special place with beautiful views towards the sea, with a native bush backdrop. The price is per vehicle. You will have the site all to yourselves!

The camp site is a private spot away from it all but only 10mins to the town. Families absolutely love staying on our eco-farm amongst the many farm animals. Friendly free ranging kune kune pigs, goats and a flock of coloured sheep as well as our cows, peacocks and chickens. You can walk the farm and get up close to all our animals. The pigs will happily eat any food scraps you have.
There is a covered camp kitchen, a toilet and shower as well as a firepit.

You can have a campfire and enjoy the farm and native bush. Bring your own matches and paper to light it.

Short drive to town for supplies. Centrally located between all the major West Coast ttractions. The campervan/motorhome area is a large private area with plenty of space for large vehicles.
We have a beautiful off grid cabin available for 2. $100 per night.

Directly behind our farm is the site of an old goldmine dating back to the late 1800's. You can explore the area and see the old Chinese mining sites.
NO PETS ALLOWED.
WATER: You can top up your water from our house - please check with us 1st (sometimes water is in short supply).
CHILDREN: All children must be supervised at all times as there are multiple hazards including ponds & streams.
CAMPFIRE: We provide firewood and a campfire space. You will need to bring some newspaper and dry kindling to get the fire started.
TOILET: We have a new composting toilet available at the campsite. This area is still a work in progress but you are welcome to use the it.
BOOKING: Please email us as soon as you have booked to let us know your arrival time and a little about yourselves.

Super nice and cosy. This place is equipped with everything you need including fresh water and a toilet. Possible to cook / or have a barbecue. Definitely worth it!

Great facilities and loved the animals. Perfect for our family.

We loved our stay at Blue Spur farm, probably the nicest place we stayed during our 2 month NZ trip. Quiet place all to yourself. Close to town, a lot to do in the area.

Beautiful little spot for our first night of holidays. Loved waking up to the farm animals coming to say good morning to the children. Great little outdoor kitchen with breakfast bar.
