The place
Hi all!
Our place is a 10 acre lifestyle block and is situated in a high end location. You'll love staying here because it is very private and safe. This site is close to open spaces and while you're here you may see a variety of bird life including Pukeko, Quail, Ducks, Hawks, Kingfisher, Pheasant and Brown owls. You can also feed eels should you wish. We are close to the Ohoka Artisan Market and other local favourite hangouts. You can walk to the river or paddle along our stream. We welcome all self-contained vehicles and can accommodate larger vehicles.
We are sociable but equally value your privacy. This property is 10 mins from Christchurch Airport and minutes from great shopping and eateries yet completely country. We are very close to the Waimakariri River where there is Trout fishing, Whitebaiting and Boating.
We have dedicated camping spots, with a powerbox and potable water. If there has been a lot of rain and the ground is soft we have another place for you to park. Pets are welcome.
We have a caravan plug point, but also offer 3 pin power.
We look forward to you visiting us as we have hosted many visitors from all over New Zealand and Worldwide.
Thanks
Robyn and Rob Lees :)

This site is exactly "what it says on the tin" - it is indeed a peaceful haven. Despite the odd aircraft passing over from Christchurch airport it is a lovely peaceful spot. You get electric hookup and a whole meadow to yourself along with a creek, a view of cows grazing in the distance and loads of birdsong. You'll hear owls at night too. Rob is a lovely host, as well as a very interesting guy, who took time to chat to us and tell us about his farm. The location could be a little tricky to find without Robyn's excellent directions - follow them and you won't have any problem. It is also a really easy drive to the airport as there appears to be a new link road making it even easier than it looks on the map. We would have stayed longer if we hadn't been flying out next day.
