The place

Your hosts James and Mary welcome you to Straight 8 vineyard and winery. This park includes a $20 voucher to spend in the cellar door.
STRAIGHT 8 ESTATE is located at the top of the Canterbury Plains half an hour drive south of Christchurch in the Burnham area. The vineyard was planted in the mid-1980s through to 1992.

Toilet and fresh water available.

Enjoy the many tourist attractions nearby, which we will give you advice on. Most importantly you'll be able to sit back amongst the vines in the sun with true privacy and sip on some great wine!

We produce an award-winning range of single-vineyard wines, ROSE – RIESLINGS – CHARDONNAY – PINOT NOIR that expresses our terroir and flavours, giving you great wines that will cellar well.
This is a great pit stop if you're heading to/from the Christchurch airport and you need to relax and unwind. We are located just 30 minutes drive away!
