My place is a local New Zealand business.
The Old Cow Shed. Recently converted old walk thru cow shed into one bedroom, one queen size and two single beds. Full kitchen with separate toilet, shower. Free-range bacon and eggs on offer for you to cook plus cereal, toast, etc. While having your morning coffee or tea, watch the cows wander pass on their way to get milked. Great place to stay for trampers with the Tararua ranges 25-minute drive away.
Wifi is available.
If you're interested in helping to milk the cows or feed the calves ( dependent on the time of year), we can outfit you with overalls and gumboots for an extra $50 per person.
Our dairy farm driveway is busy at times, please be aware of other vehicles that may include motorbikes, tractors, trucks, cows and other cars.

This unique BnB is a converted cowshed where you can enjoy your cup of tea while watching the cows walk pass or admire the Tararua ranges that can be seen from the kitchen window. Te Horo is an hour away from Wellington, & 10 mins from the nearest train station. This is the perfect place for a real country getaway without having to do a lot of travel.
Toast, bacon, & free-range eggs provided.
While you're here you will see any self-contained vehicle, including motorhome, campervan, RV, caravan or converted bus..
