Isolated beach escape

The place

Our place is a private location and you'll love staying here because you'll get a real feel for kiwi beach life. This site is close to a nice sandy beach with awesome rock formations and pools at low tide, good fishing and lovely scenery (though the beach is not very safe for swimming, better at Castlepoint). Close to the beautiful tourist destination of Castlepoint with its amazing lighthouse, safe beach and lagoon for swimming and water activities, an awesome coastal walk and a shop for supplies. Close to the Whakataki pub for meals and meeting the locals. You are welcome to stay here if you're travelling in a fully self-contained motorhome or campervan, no other facilities available on site. There are 2 possible sites, one between the shed and hedge if it’s blowing a norwester, and one across the private road on a nice flat site with sea views. We will love to share a coffee or drink with you if we are staying in our beach house there at the same time.
