A unique opportunity to stay at Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens, which is just 60mins from Auckland airport. Camping fee includes after hours access to Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens, which is a 3.5km of walking trails through native forest and gardens with around 40 sculptures from NZ artists. Bring a torch and check out the glow worms at night on the forest trail.
There is a toilet and a seating area in the Plant Centre around 100m walk from the camping site, but self contained vehicles are preferred. It is a grass covered site, so tenting is OK provided you use the toilets in the Plant Centre.
The property gate is locked overnight from 5pm to 8am, so you can be certain of this being a safe and private place to stay. Please plan your arrival and departure times around our opening hours of 8am to 5pm.
