The place

This rural property is situated 40km north of Whangarei.
It is approximately half way between Whangarei and Paihia (Bay of Islands).
The last 8 km of road is unsealed (gravel road) It can be a bit rough and intimidating at times.
While you're here you will see a quiet corner of the country.
There is no cell phone coverage at the camp site, but a signal can be obtained by driving 5 minutes up a country road.
Weather permitting - can arrange for guests to take native bush walks, horse riding or go possum shooting at night, using a spotlight & scope mounted .22 or shotgun.
Have an outdoors fireplace for guests use.
Have wifi up at the house for guests to check their email.
Can top up your fresh water tanks from our spring water supply.
Note: For possum shooting you will be under my strict supervision (as I have a registered and up to date NZ Fire Arms licence), whilst handling guns and possum shooting. All queries are listed and legal under the Fire Arms code. No alcohol permitted before such events.
